Super Ultra is the second original mixtape by English recording artist Charli XCX.
Background
Like her previous mixtape released earlier in 2012, Heartbreaks and Earthquakes, Super Ultra consists of eight original tracks with excerpts from numerous films serving as interludes, including True Romance. Unlike Heartbreaks and Earthquakes however, all tracks are released separately and individually, as opposed to one continuous MP3 file. Charli describes the mixtape as the "pre-album", and the "link in to [True Romance].[1] The entire mixtape was written by Charli in a car whilst she was supporting Coldplay on tour.[2]
