The Super City Rangers, previously known as the Waitakere Rangers, are a New Zealand professional basketball team that competes in the National Basketball League (NBL). They play their home fixtures at the Trusts Stadium in Waitakere City. For sponsorship reasons, they are known as the James Blond Super City Rangers.
The Rangers are the only team in the competition with a 100 per cent volunteer roster, including both players and coaches, with a strong mix of experience and youth to work with.[1]
