SunWater is a company located in Queensland, Australia.[11] The company supplies bulk water to over 6000 customers and water consultancy to a range of clients.

Sunwater is owned by the Queensland Government[12] and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of 19 major dams,[13] 63 weirs,[14] 80 major pumping stations[15] and more than 2500 kilometres of pipelines[16] and open channels. Water storage infrastructure managed by SunWater includes Burdekin Falls Dam,[17] Bjelke-Petersen Dam [18] and Wuruma Dam.[19]

SunWater constructed, and owns & operates a mini hydroelectric power station at Lake Tinaroo called the Tinaroo Hydro Power Station.[20]

SunWater also constructed, and owns & operates a mini hydroelectric power station at Paradise Dam called the Paradise Mini-Hydro. This station suffered damage in the 2010 Bundaberg Floods.
