SunVox is a compact cross-platform audio tracker with modular synthesizers.[1]
Features:
- minimalistic scalable interface for working on any video resolution;
- highly-optimized sound synthesis algorithms for working on any type of hardware (from powerful computers with 32-bit sound to low-power PDAs and smartphones with 16-bit sound);
- support for 16, 24 and 32 bit WAV, AIFF, and XI samples;
- Supported sound systems: ASIO, DirectSound, MME, ALSA, OSS, JACK (iOS and Linux), Audiobus;
- MIDI In/Out.
History
SunVox was created during the evolution of the previous two trackers developed by NightRadio - PsyTexx (2002) and PsyTexx II (2005). The first version of SunVox was introduced in 2008.
As a result of public voting on the site Palm Sounds SunVox was named the most innovative applications in 2008[2] and 2009.[3]
