"Summer Calling" is the first effort released by Andain, also defining their debut to the EDM scene.

Overview

After getting in touch with Josh Gabriel on behalf of his production "Wave 3", Tiësto had showed an interest for the band's original recording of "Summer Calling", which in turn lead to the creation of "Josh Gabriel Mix".[1] Released on May 29, 2002, the remix first appeared on Tiësto's compilation album In Search of Sunrise 3: Panama, presenting Andain to the limelight of electronic dance music. Soon after, a 12-inch single followed on June 15, 2002, including the B-side "Gabriel & Dresden Remix".[2] In the leap of releasing additional remixes on future issues, the original version was eventually also made available.[3]

With remixes from DJ Tomcraft, DJ Dazzle and Airwave in the catalog, an enhanced MCD was released in 2003. The disc also included a music video based on the radio edit of the Gabriel & Dresden remix.[4]
