Sulmierzyce [sulmjɛˈʐɨt͡sɛ] is a village in Pajęczno County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Sulmierzyce. It lies approximately 14 kilometres (9 mi) east of Pajęczno and 70 km (43 mi) south of the regional capital Łódź.[1]
The village has a population of 1,400.
