Sukanya (born July 8, 1969) is a South Indian actress, singer, music composer, Bharatanatyam danseuse and voice actor.

Biography

She has acted in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu movies, totaling over 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry. She has composed two devotional albums namely Azhagu, Thirupathi Thirukudai Thiruvizha.She has won five Best Actress Filmfare awards for her performance in Tamil films including Puthu Nellu Puthu Nathu, Walter Vetrivel and Rajarajan.^{[citation needed]}

Personal life

Sukanya was married to R.Sreedhar in 2002 at United States.^[1]
