"Suck My Kiss" is a song by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It was released as the third single from their fifth studio album, Blood Sugar Sex Magik. The "Suck My Kiss" single was released in 1992 as an airplay single in the US and as a physical single in Australia. A music video was made for the song using footage from the Funky Monks documentary directed by Gavin Bowden. It also featured shots in shades of red of the American army returning from the Gulf War, revealed by Anthony Kiedis on the audio commentary in the band Greatest Videos compilation. The song was included on the band's Greatest Hits compilation.

Anthony Kiedis stated on November 9, 2010, that the song was about oral sex and how one boy at his school always seemed to go on about getting it.

Despite being a fan favorite and heavily played at over 200 shows from 1991 to 2003, "Suck My Kiss" was performed just four times on the band's 2006-2007 Stadium Arcadium tour. The song reappeared on the opening night of the North American leg of the 'I'm with You' tour, in Tampa, Florida, and has been played frequently since.

In media and popular culture

The song is featured in the video game Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock and is featured as a downloadable track in Rock Band and Rock Band 2 along with the rest of the Blood Sugar Sex Magik album.

A Rolling Stone readers' poll stated that this song is the number five rated Red Hot Chili Peppers song of all time.^[2]

The song was covered by Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine on his 2000 album, Lounge Against the Machine. The song is also used in an episode of Beavis and Butt-head. A remixed instrumental based on the song is often used as royalty free production music.

One line was used in the Japanese TV show Tamori Club, in a segment called "Soramimi Hour" which is when songs from a language other than Japanese is interpreted into Japanese, according to phonetics. This can cause rather wild results as the mishearing for this song was 白便　黒便　和田勉 (Shiro ben, kuro ben, Wada Ben, translated: "White excrement, black excrement, Ben Wada") based on the song's first verse, "Should have been, could have been, would have been...".
