Suchy Las [ˈsuxɨ ˈlas] (German: Steimersdorf) is a village in Poznań County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Suchy Las.[1] It lies just north of the regional capital Poznań, approximately 9 km (6 mi) from the city centre.
The village has a population of 4,367. Its name literally means "dry forest".
