Subhasish Mukhopadhyay or Subhasish Mukherjee is Bengali film actor.[1]

Personal life

Subhasish studied in Scottish Church Collegiate School and passed Higher secondary examination from there. After passing Higher Secondary examination he got admitted in Seth Anandram Jaipuria College and passed B.Com examination. Before becoming an actor he took job in a cosmetic company and he also worked in a printing press. Before joining films he was a regular actor of Bengali theatres too. In 1986 he married Ishita Mukhopadhyay.[2]

Acting career

In 1987, Subhasish made his debut in Purnendu Patri's film "Choto Bakulpurer Jatri".[2] In next years he worked in many more films. His performance in the Bengali film Herbert was widely appreciated.[3] Subhasish has played the role "Tenida" in a 2012 Bengali film.[4]
