Suaqui Grande is a town, and the surrounding municipality of the same name, in the eastern region of the Mexican state of Sonora. It was founded in 1620 by the missionary Martín Burgencio.
The municipal area is 889.28 km2. and the population was 1,102 in 2000. The main economic activities are cattle raising, growing of grass for cattle feed and subsistence agriculture.
