The Suðurkjördæmi (i.e. South) is one of the six constituencies (kjördæmi) of Iceland. Its major town is Keflavík.
Geography
It is the only constituency bordering with all the other five, included the urban ones of Reykjavík. Its territory includes the glaciers of Vatnajokull (Partly in Norðausturkjördæmi), Eyjafjallajökull, Mýrdalsjökull, Tindfjallajökull, Torfajökull and, at its northern borders, the southern part of the Hofsjökull and Langjökull.
