The Styrian Ringlet (Erebia stirius, often misspelled "styrius") is a member of the Satyrinae subfamily of Nymphalidae. It is a mountain butterfly found in the Austrian and Italian Alps, Croatia and Slovenia. Etymology-Styria is a state of Austria.
