Stromiec [ˈstrɔmjɛt͡s] is a village in Białobrzegi County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Stromiec.[1] It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) east of Białobrzegi and 65 km (40 mi) south of Warsaw. From 1975 to 1998 the village was in Radom Voivodeship.
In 2006 the village had a population of 909.
