Strapped is a 1993 television crime-thriller/drama, produced by HBO Films for HBO, directed by Forest Whitaker and starring, William James Stiggers, Jr., Chi Ali and was the debut film of Bokeem Woodbine and rapper Fredro Starr.[1]
Overview
A young ex-con, played by Woodbine, who attempts to turn his life around and start legitimate work. However, his girlfriend soon gets in legal trouble and the police force him into a complicated undercover operation involving selling guns on the street and selling information to the police. The title refers to the urban slang for carrying a gun.
