"Stranger" (Korean title: "낯선자") is a song written by Kenzie and performed by the South Korean R&B group Shinee. The Japanese version of the song was released as a bonus track in the regular edition of the group's first Japanese album, The First, which was released on December 7, 2011 in Japan under the label of EMI Music Japan. The lyrics were written by Natsumi Kobayashi. "Stranger" is also the main theme song and original soundtrack for the Fuji TV drama series Strangers 6.[1]
The Korean version was released as a track and a promotional single in Shinee's fourth Korean EP, Sherlock, which was released on March 21, 2011 in South Korea under the label of SM Entertainment. The lyrics were provided by Kim Jungbae and Shinee's member Choi Minho.[2] The song was performed as a promotional single along with "Sherlock" on various music and variety shows including Music Bank, Inkigayo, M! Countdown and Show Champion.
