Stráňany

Stráňany (fmr. Ukrainian: Фільварок, Fil’varok) is a village and municipality in Stará Ľubovňa District in the Prešov Region of northern Slovakia. Former name of the village was Folvark. There is Greek Catholic church built in 1857 in the village.
History
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1343.
Geography
The municipality lies at an altitude of 650 metres and covers an area of 11.607 km². It has a population of about 194 people.
