Stjepan Tomas (born 6 March 1976) is a retired Croatian footballer. He last played for the Turkish side Bucaspor before being released in November 2010.

Tomas was part of the Croatia national team at the 2002 FIFA World Cup where he played in all three games in the group stage before they were eliminated. He was also on the national squad at the 2004 Euro but did not play any games in the tournament. He also played for the national team in their third and last game at the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

Tomas was born in Bugojno. His previous clubs include Dinamo Zagreb, Vicenza Calcio, Como, Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray and Rubin Kazan

In August 2007, he signed a 2-year contract with Russian team FC Rubin Kazan, for a fee of €4.8m.[1]

On 31 January 2010, he signed a contract with Turkish team Gaziantepspor until end of the season. Then he moved to Bucaspor which is new promoted Turkcell Super Lig team.

Defensively speaking, at his prime was one of the better players in the Turkish league, but highly unpredictable. His teamwork is undeniably the best thing about him. His consistency is good and he rarely has a run of bad games. His ball distribution is not the greatest and his down field passes are better. His positioning is good, but in Galatasaray he was never considered better than Rigobert Song, with whom he enjoyed a solid partnership in the center of defense. He is right footed and isn't all that threatening from set pieces
