Stig Harder (born April 5, 1969) is the founder of Fashion Net and of Lumière, an online magazine. Harder was born in Flekkefjord, Norway, and graduated from Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, California, in 1991.[1]

Harder launched Fashion Net in Paris in January 1995,[2] when he was 25 years old.[3] It was the first fashion site on the Internet.[2] In October of the same year, he launched Lumière.[citation needed]

Harder is a member of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences[4] and the International Academy of the Visual Arts.[5] He has been a judge for the Site of the Year awards of the FWA.[6]
