Stewart Resnick is an American businessman and philanthropist.

Biography

Early life

He received a Bachelor of Science and a J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles.[1][2][3]

Career

Since 1962, he has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Roll Global.[1][2][3] Since 1985, he has been CEO and Chairman of Franklin Mint Company, a subsidiary of Roll International Corporation.[1] He is the owner and Chief Executive Officer of Paramount Citrus.[1] He also serves as President of Paramount Farms International.[1] He also owns Paramount Agribusiness, POM Wonderful, Teleflora, Fiji Water, and Suterra.[1][2][3] He sat on the Board of Directors of LeapFrog Enterprises from 2002 to 2005.[1]

Philanthropy

He sits on the Board of Trustees of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Bard College, the J. Paul Getty Trust and Conservation International.[1][2][3][4][5] He also sits on the Advisory Board of the UCLA Anderson School of Management.[1]

Personal life

He has been married to Lynda Resnick since 1973.[6] They have five children.[6] They reside in Beverly Hills, California.[6] As of September 2013, they are worth an estimated US$3.5 billion.[6]
