Steven Tang

Cr. Steven Tang (simplified Chinese: 邓文威; traditional Chinese: 鄧文威; pinyin: Dèng Wénwēi) is a former city councillor and former mayor of the City of Glen Eira in Melbourne, Australia. He was elected second into Rosstown Ward in November 2005. He received a primary vote of 2,276 votes out of 20,970 formal votes (10.85%).
Tang was a member of the executive of the Australasian Union of Jewish Students (AUJS) and was a student at McKinnon Primary School and McKinnon Secondary College. Tang is a long-term resident of Glen Eira, living in the suburbs of East Bentleigh and Carnegie.
