Steven John Kent (born May 8, 1989) is an Australian professional baseball player. A pitcher, Kent plays for the Canberra Cavalry in the Australian Baseball League. He has also played in minor league baseball as a member of the Atlanta Braves organization and for the Australian national baseball team in international competitions.
Career
Kent signed with the Atlanta Braves as an international free agent in 2006. While a member of the Braves organization, he competed in the Australian Baseball League for the Canberra Cavalry.[1] The Braves released Kent and he signed with the Kansas City Royals.[2]
Kent competed in the 2011 Baseball World Cup.[3]
