Steve Leven

Steve Leven' (born October 15, 1981 in Sydney, Australia) is a British-American professional basketball player.

Background

The 6-foot 5-inch (1.97m) Combo guard started his career with Auburn University in 2002 then transferred to the University of Wyoming due to Auburn being found guilty of NCAA violations.[1]

Started his professional career after early entry to the NBA draft in 2006, perticipated in NBA Las Vegas Summer League and Rocky Mountain Summer League.

He signed for the Perth Wildcats in 2006,[2] but left the club early in the season.[3] He then obtained a British passport making him a local in Europe and joined Unicaja Málaga in Spain's ACB but was released after an injury. He also played in the UK, Russia, Greece, Spain, Germany and in the Netherlands.
