Stere Adamache (17 August 1941 – 9 July 1978), known by the diminutive Sterică, was a Romanian football player, who played as a goalkeeper. He played at the 1970 World Cup in the match between Romania and Brazil. He conceded two goals, one of them from Pelé, and was substituted with Rică Răducanu, being the first goalkeeper to be changed in a World Cup.[citation needed] He drowned in the Danube in 1978.
