Stephen D. Newman (born October 15, 1964, in Virginia is an American politician of the Republican Party. In 1996, he was elected to the Senate of Virginia. He currently represents the 23rd district, which consists of the cities of Lynchburg and Bedford, Bedford County, and Botetourt and Craig and Campbell counties.[1]
