Stephen A. Head (born January 13, 1984), is an American professional baseball player in the Colorado Rockies minor leagues. An infielder and outfielder, Head played for the minor league teams in the Cleveland Indians organization since 2005.
Before being selected by the Cleveland Indians with the 62nd overall pick in the 2005 Major League Baseball Draft, Head attended Hillcrest Christian School (Jackson, Mississippi) and the University of Mississippi. He was the designated hitter for Team USA during the 2003 Pan American Games,[1] receiving a silver medal for his efforts.
Head spent the 2008 season with the Akron Aeros and helped lead the team to the Eastern League Championship Series.
