Stehanja Vas (Slovene: Stehanja vas, German: Stockendorf[2]) is a small village in the Municipality of Trebnje in eastern Slovenia. It lies south of Veliki Gaber, south of the Slovenian A2 motorway. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now part of the Southeast Slovenia statistical region.[3]

The local church, built north of the village, is dedicated to the Exaltation of the Holy Cross and belongs to the Parish of Šentlovrenc. It is a well-preserved example of Gothic architecture dating to the mid-15th century with few alterations.[4]
