"Stay" is the debut single by British girl group Eternal. It released on 20 September 1993 as the lead single from their debut album Always & Forever (1993). The single entered at number 16 on 26 September 1993 on the UK Singles Chart, eventually peaking at number four on 17 October 1993. The single was also a hit on the US Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 19 on 12 March 1994.[1] An earlier version of the song, which was written by Bob Khouzouri and Mark Stevens, was recorded by Glenn Jones and released in 1990.
