Starościn [staˈrɔɕt͡ɕin] (formerly German Friedrichswille) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Rzepin, within Słubice County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) north-east of Rzepin, 20 km (12 mi) east of Słubice, 49 km (30 mi) south-west of Gorzów Wielkopolski, and 66 km (41 mi) north-west of Zielona Góra.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland immediately after World War II).
The village has a population of 300.
