Starky were a band from Sydney, Australia, formed in 1998. The band consisted of Beau Cassidy (Guitar, Lead Vocals, Keyboards), Nick Neal (Bass and Spoons), and Jonny Wilson (Guitar).
Their first single, "Rock 'n' Roll is the Devils Music" was released in 1999, earned the title "Best New Talent" from Channel V, and won a $50,000 video clip.
In October 2003, Mirror, Signal, Manoeuvre was the 'Feature Album' on Australian youth radio station Triple J.
Their single "Hey Bang Bang" has received considerable airplay on Triple J, and was nominated for Breakthrough Artist - Single in the 2006 ARIAs.
As of 28 July 2007, following their final show at the East Brunswick Hotel Starky ceased to exist. Announcing via a MySpace Blog that the band had split.
