Stare Kurowo [ˈstarɛ kuˈrɔvɔ] is a village in Strzelce-Drezdenko County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Stare Kurowo.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) east of Strzelce Krajeńskie and 30 km (19 mi) north-east of Gorzów Wielkopolski.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
The village has a population of 2,100.
