Stare Koźle [ˈstarɛ ˈkɔʑlɛ] (German Alt Cosel) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Bierawa, within Kędzierzyn-Koźle County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north-west of Bierawa, 5 km (3 mi) south of Kędzierzyn-Koźle, and 45 km (28 mi) south-east of the regional capital Opole.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
The village has a population of 832.
