Stara Kamienica [ˈstara kamjɛˈnit͡sa] (German: Alt Kemnitz) is a village in Jelenia Góra County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It is the seat of the administrative district (gmina) called Gmina Stara Kamienica. Prior to 1945 it was in Germany.
It lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) west of Jelenia Góra, and 106 kilometres (66 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław.
The village has a population of 1,200.
