Stara Chmielówka [ˈstara xmjɛˈlufka] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Bakałarzewo, within Suwałki County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) north-east of Bakałarzewo, 13 km (8 mi) north-west of Suwałki, and 116 km (72 mi) north of the regional capital Białystok.
The village has a population of 180.
