The Star Plaza Theatre is a live music venue in Merrillville, Indiana. The theatre is a 3,400-seat intimate theatre with two seating levels in a semicircle around the stage. The Main Floor Level seats 2,000 people, and the Mezzanine Level, which overhangs the main level about midway, seats 1,400. The furthest seat in the auditorium is 120 feet from the stage.
The Star Plaza Theatre was opened in December of 1979 under the name Holiday Star Theatre. Charlie Blum is its President and CEO. (2009 International Entertainment Buyers Association)
