STARTEK is a business process outsourcing company that was founded in Greeley, Colorado in 1987 by Michael Morgan, A. Emmet Stephenson Jr., and E. Preston Sumner Jr..[1] It was originally a packaging company, StarPak.[2] Originally contracted to pack early versions of Microsoft word processors, it eventually expanded to provide customer support for the product. Currently STARTEK has 15 facilities throughout the United States, Canada, The Philippines, Costa Rica, and Honduras including the corporate headquarters in Denver, Colorado.

Experience

STARTEK's main business is in providing call center support for customer service departments of major United States telecommunication, retail, and cable and satellite companies. To a lesser extent, STARTEK also provides outsourcing support to companies in the banking and finance sector, consumer packaged goods/retail, information technology, insurance, and healthcare.
