Starý Petřín is a village and municipality (obec) in Znojmo District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 18.55 square kilometres (7.16 sq mi), and has a population of 241 (as at 28 August 2006).
Starý Petřín lies approximately 24 kilometres (15 mi) west of Znojmo, 74 km (46 mi) south-west of Brno, and 163 km (101 mi) south-east of Prague.
