Starý Šachov is a village and municipality (obec) in Děčín District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 3.42 square kilometres (1.32 sq mi), and has a population of 198 (as of 28 August 2006).

Starý Šachov lies approximately 15 kilometres (9 mi) east of Děčín, 25 km (16 mi) east of Ústí nad Labem, and 71 km (44 mi) north of Prague.
