Stanford-on-Avon is a hamlet in the civil parish of Stanford in the Daventry district of Northamptonshire, England. It lies next to the River Avon which here forms the county boundary between Northamptonshire and Leicestershire. On the Leicestershire side of the river is the historic house of Stanford Hall. Stanford Reservoir is one mile north of the village.

The church contains the oldest organ pipes surviving in Britain. They probably date from the 1630s (i.e. before the Cromwell era) and may have been made by Dallam, altered by Harris.
