Stafford Brothers are professional DJs and producers from Australia, who are based in Los Angeles. They have been ranked as the number 1 DJs in Australia in the ITM Awards.[1][2][3] The brothers were the first electronic dance music act to sign to Cash Money Records - an American record label.[4] Stafford Brothers also have their own syndicated network TV show The Stafford Brothers.[5]

Affiliations

The Stafford Brothers have produced club records for a number of labels.[6][7][8] In December 2012, Cash Money Records co-CEO’s Ronald “Slim” Williams and Bryan “Birdman” Williams announced they had signed the Stafford Brothers.[9]

"Hello"

The Stafford Brothers' debut release on Cash Money Records titled ‘Hello,’ featured Young Money Entertainment’s Lil Wayne and Christina Milian from NBC’s ‘The Voice’. The single was certified double platinum in Australia and hit #1 on the Australian artist singles chart, dance chart, club chart and iTunes dance chart.[10][11] It peaked at #4 on the overall singles chart spending 20 weeks inside the top 50.[12] A remix package was released internationally on Beatport in which two of the remixes reached #1 in their respective genres.[13][14]

Real Madrid

In 2011, Real Madrid C.F commissioned the Stafford Brothers to reproduce their club anthem ‘Himno del Real Madrid’. ‘Everybody (Hala Madrid)’ was released on iTunes along with an official music video featuring famous footage from Real Madrid games.[18][19]

Television series

In 2010, FOX8 premiered a six part documentary titled ‘The Stafford Brothers’ that followed Matt and Chris Stafford on their European Tour.[20] The second season of the show premiered on January 21, 2011; in its final episode, the Stafford Brothers announced their plans to move to America, to pursue their international DJ career.[21][22]

Radio shows

In Australia, the Stafford Brothers host their weekly radio show on Austereo Radio Network.[23]

In the United States, their radio programme is hosted by Clear Channel’s Evolution Radio on Saturday nights.[24] The show has featured interviews with artists such as Nicky Romero, Thomas Gold, NERVO, Tommy Trash and Krewella.[25][26][27][28][29][30]

Ventures

On June 8, 2013 the Stafford Brothers announced an online DJ training program and website titled DJ Master Course, which was launched in September 2013.[31][32]

The Stafford Brothers are also partners in electronic dance music talent group 360 Agency.[33][34]
