Stade National Gouled is a multi-use stadium in Djibouti City, Djibouti. It is currently reserved mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of hosting up to 10,000 fans. As of April 2007, the Stade has an artificial turf pitch courtesy of FIFA's Win in Africa development programme.[1]
History
Built by China, it is named after the President of Djibouti during its creation, Hassan Gouled Aptidon, which opens June 26, 1993. Renovation work in 2002 and committed the turf is changed 2. The stadium has also benefited from the program Goal established by the FIFA. A new artificial turf is established again in 2007.
