Srinivas Avasarala is an Indian script-writer, director and actor.

Originally from Hyderabad, Srinivas has spent a few years in Vijaywada, New Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata as well.

Srinivas has a Masters in Mechanical Engineering with focus on Finite Element Analysis and worked for Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory.[1] He had done a screenwriting diploma at UCLA and then took acting classes for a year at Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, New York City. He did some theatre in New York and then worked as an assistant director for a film called Blind Ambition. He also worked at the Universal Studios as a script screener.

He made his debut in the film Ashta Chamma. He helped in writing few scenes in the film.[2] He has worked in many Telugu films like Mugguru, Pilla Zamindar, Vara Prasad Potti Prasad. He will be directing a Telugu romantic-comedy with Naga Shourya as the lead.[3]
