Srijato
Srijato Bandopadhyay (born 21 December 1975 in Kolkata), is a popular poet of the Bengali younger generation.[1] He won the Ananda Puroskar in 2004 for his book Udanta Sawb Joker: All Those Flying Jokers. He has also attended a writer's workshop at the University of Iowa.

Srijato, an ex-student of jadavpur vidyapith, now lives in [40 Selimpur Road, Kolkata - 31],in southern Kolkata, with his wife Durba, worked as journalist earlier and now he is in the editorial board of the magazine "Prathama".
Srijato is the grandchild of legendary classical vocalist Sangeetacharya Tarapada Chakraborty and nephew of Great Maestro Musician and the Khalifa of Kotali Gharana Pandit Manas Chakraborty, his mother is also a reputed classical vocalist Gaan Saraswati Srila Bandopadhyay.
