Sri Raghavendra is a 1985 Tamil film is directed by SP. Muthuraman. The film was Rajinikanth's 100th film. He plays the role of the Hindu saint Raghavendra in this movie. It was produced by Kavithalaya Productions. The film was later dubbed in Telugu as Sri Mantralaya Raghavendra Swamy Mahatyam. Though the performance of Rajinikanth was much appreciated the movie flopped at the box office.[1]
Plot
This film is the life of Sri Raghavendra. From Birth till his Mahasamadhi has been portrayed by Rajnikanth. The film highlights some of the miracles Sri Raghavendra performed. The film has Lakshmi as his wife and guest appearances by Vishnuvardhan, Mohan and Sathyaraj.
