Sri Murali (Kannada: ಶ್ರೀ ಮುರಳಿ), also known by names Murali or Srimurali, is a Kannada film actor who acted in movies such as Chandra Chakori, Kanti, Chanda Banda, and others. He also acted in Yagna - a Telugu movie -, and Mangalapuram - a Malayalam movie.[1][2][3][4]

Personal details

He is the son of Kannada film producer S.A. Chinne Gowda, and younger brother of actor Vijay Raghavendra. He married Vidya, his girlfriend and daughter of hotelier Ramesh, on May 11, 2008.[1][5][6]

Career

He debuted film industry with Chandra Chakori in 2003, which was a sensational hit. He later acted in Kanti, Yashwant, Preethigaagi, and others. In Minchina Ota, he acted with his brother - Vijay Raghavendra produced by his father.[1][2][2] [7][8] He also takes care of production responsibilities of his family banner Sowbhagya Pictures, under which several films produced by his father were made such as Sevanthi Sevanthi’ and Ganesha Mathe Bandha.[9] Currently, he is awaiting the release of his next movie 'UGRAMM' which is under post production for which he has dedicated a lot of time, hoping it would recreate the stardom his first movie Chandra Chakori brought him at the beginning of his career.
