The Spotlight 29 Casino is a Native American gambling enterprise, of the Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians, located in Coachella, California, USA. The casino has 2,000 slot machines, 30 table games, and an 11 table poker room. The casino also has a 2,200 seat showroom.

History

On January 14, 1995, the Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians opened the Spotlight 29. In April 2002, the casino changed management to Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts, and was renamed "Trump 29". In February 2005, the management contract ended and the casino's name reverted to "Spotlight 29".

Renovations

In March 2007, the Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians of California broke ground on a 200-room four-star hotel, pool, spa, and a parking garage. The cost of the project would have been around $100 million but due to the poor economy, only the parking garage was constructed. The parking garage opened in July 2009.
