Sports Plus
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sports Plus was a sports channel owned by Solar Entertainment Corporation from 2004-2006. It was launched in January 2004 as an alternative sports channel for Solar Sports. The channel mostly aired golf, NASCAR racing, Ultimate Fighting Championship matches and poker tournaments. NBA games are also shown once a week during the season, but at times increased during the playoffs.
In October 2006, it was replaced by the Basketball TV channel formed by Solar, while moving most of Sports Plus' programs to Solar Sports.
