Sport+ (Greece)
Sport+ was a digital terrestrial television station by ERT, which was a 20-hour commercial-free channel. It was the third digital terrestrial channel launched in Greece on (29 May 2006). It broadcast in Attica, Central Macedonia (Thessaloniki) and Thessaly.
Programming
From 8 p.m. to 4 p.m. every day, Sport+ broadcast a variety of sport programs. It broadcast wrestling, rhythmic gymnastics, football and basketball matches from the Greek Super League, tennis, WRC and Mundobasket. 2006 FIBA World Championship was the first event to be broadcast live in digital terrestrial television in Greece by Sport+ in August 2006.
Also, from 2008, via the Sport+'s frequency, Info+, a new digital terrestrial channel was broadcasting a variety of news programs from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Merge with Cine+
Due to the launch of ERT HD, Sport+ was obliged to merge with Cine+ into a new channel, branded as "Cine/Sport+" in 26 April 2011.
