Spongdal is a village in the municipality of Trondheim in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is the largest village in the Byneset district. It is located between Langørjan and Ringvål. The 0.29-square-kilometre (72-acre) village has a population (2009) of 427. The population density is 1,472 inhabitants per square kilometre (3,810 /sq mi).[1]
