Splatters is the fifty-ninth studio album by guitarist Buckethead, and the twenty-ninth installment of the Buckethead Pikes Series.[1] The album was part of a series of thirty pike albums that were released in close succession from one another during 2013.
The album was announced and released on September 26 as both a digital version and as a limited edition consisting of 300 copies of an untitled white album signed by Buckethead himself to be released on October 10. However, the album was pushed forward to October 8th and started shipping along with Feathers. Unlike any of the limited edition albums, Splatters was signed with green ink instead of the traditional black ink used in the previous limited editions. A standard edition was announced but has not yet been released.
